Terms of Service
These are the terms you agree to when you use itslbp.com or buy training from us. We have written them in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email us before you buy and we will explain it.
Last updated Governing law California
01Who we are
ITSL Blueprint is a brand of TDSW Inc. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean TDSW Inc trading as ITSL Blueprint. "You" means the person using the site or buying from us. If you are buying on behalf of a company, "you" means both you and that company.
We teach people how to start and operate Independent, Transitional and Sober Living housing — the category also called sober living, transitional housing and recovery residences. Our instructor, Marvin "Q" Caldwell, operates recovery housing in more than one market.
You can reach us at contact@itslbp.com. That is the address for every notice under these terms.
02Agreeing to these terms
By using this site, submitting a form, registering for a webinar or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Earnings Disclaimer. Those three documents are part of this agreement. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site and do not buy.
The version of these terms in effect on the day you buy is the version that governs that purchase.
03What we sell
We sell educational content and educational services. Depending on what you buy, that can include:
- recorded and self-paced training, delivered online;
- live sessions, workshops, seminars and webinars, online or in person;
- written material — guides, checklists, worksheets, sample documents and templates;
- group or one-to-one guidance, where we offer it and where it is described in what you bought.
What is included in a given program is whatever we describe on the page or in the written offer at the time you buy. We may improve, reorganise or update material over time. We may also change the schedule, running order, format or venue of a live session — if a date or format changes materially, we will tell registered attendees by email.
Free items — such as the free webinar or a free download — are provided as-is, with no payment and no obligation on either side beyond these terms.
04What we are not
This section matters more than any other. Please read it.
We do not provide medical, clinical, behavioural health, detox, counselling or addiction treatment services of any kind, to anyone. We are not a licensed treatment facility and we are not staffed to be one.
Buying, attending or completing our training does not license, certify, accredit, register or approve you, your business or any property. We cannot grant any credential and we do not speak for any state agency or standards organisation.
This is not a franchise, dealership, distributorship, partnership, joint venture or agency. You get no territory, no exclusivity, no right to trade under our name or marks, and no accounts, leads, referrals or residents from us.
We do not place, admit, refer or house residents through this site or through this training. Nothing we sell is an offer of housing or a bed. Our instructor's own housing operations are a separate business from this education business.
Compliance is yours, and it is local
You are solely responsible for meeting every legal requirement that applies to your own business. That includes business registration, state and local licensing or registration, zoning and land use, occupancy limits, building and fire codes, health and safety rules, fair housing and disability law, landlord–tenant law, insurance, employment law, tax, and any recovery-residence certification a funder or referral source may require.
These rules vary by state, by county and often by city, and they change. Something permitted in one town can be prohibited a few miles away. Our training explains how to think about these requirements — it is not a substitute for checking them where you are, with your own lawyer and your own local officials.
05Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us or to register for a session. The site is not intended for children.
When you register or buy, give us accurate information and keep it current. If we create an account or an access link for you, it is for you alone. Keep your login details private. Do not share, sell, lend or publish them, and do not let anyone else use your access. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your credentials.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
06Access and delivery
We normally deliver access by email to the address you gave us, shortly after your payment clears. Check your spam folder before contacting us, and add contact@itslbp.com to your contacts.
How long your access lasts is whatever we stated at the time of purchase. Where we did not state a period, we will keep the material available for at least [ACCESS PERIOD — CONFIRM] from purchase, unless we have to stop for a reason outside our control. If we ever retire a program, we will give existing buyers reasonable notice and a way to download what they bought.
You need your own internet connection and a reasonably current device and browser. We do not guarantee the material will work on every device or network.
07Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- record, screen-capture, transcribe, stream or rebroadcast any live or recorded session, unless we give written permission;
- share your access with anyone else, or use one purchase to train a team — ask us about a team arrangement instead;
- copy, resell, sublicense, publish, post publicly or redistribute our material, in whole or in part;
- use our material to build, teach or market a competing training, course, coaching program or consultancy;
- upload our material to a file-sharing service, a public repository, or a dataset used to train a machine-learning model;
- scrape, crawl, data-mine or bulk-download the site, or interfere with it, probe it, or try to get round any access control or bot protection;
- harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against our staff, our instructor or other participants, in any session, chat, group or email;
- impersonate anyone, misstate your identity, or imply that we endorse, certify, license or sponsor your business;
- use the site or our material for anything unlawful.
We may remove anyone from a live session or a group who behaves abusively, and we may suspend or end access for a breach of this section.
08Intellectual property and your licence
Everything we produce — the training, the videos, the audio, the slides, the written material, the templates, the site design, the text, the graphics and the ITSL Blueprint name and logo — belongs to TDSW Inc or to the people who license it to us. It is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We are not transferring ownership of any of it to you.
What you may do
When you buy, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the material you paid for and to use it for your own learning and in the operation of your own business. You may print a copy for yourself. You may adapt the templates and checklists for use inside your own operation, and you may show them to your own lawyer, accountant or insurer.
What you may not do
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, publish, broadcast, post publicly or otherwise make the material available to anyone outside your own business — and you may not use it as the basis of a course, program or paid service of your own. This is a course business; that restriction is the whole point of it.
If you breach this section, your licence ends immediately. We may revoke your access, and a revocation for breach does not entitle you to a refund. We keep every other legal remedy available to us.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions for improving what we do, we may use them without owing you anything for them.
09Payment terms
All prices are in US dollars. Prices can change, but a change never affects a purchase you have already completed.
Your statement will say TDSW
Card payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. The charge — and any refund — appears on your statement as TDSW, not as "ITSL Blueprint". ITSL Blueprint is a brand of TDSW Inc. If you see TDSW on your statement and you bought from us, that is us. Please email contact@itslbp.com before disputing a charge you do not recognise — we can identify it for you the same day.
By submitting a payment you authorise us and our processor to charge the payment method you gave us for the amount shown at checkout, plus any tax that applies. You confirm you are allowed to use that payment method.
We do not receive or store your full card number. That information goes directly to our processor, who is responsible for handling it securely.
Payment plans
Where we offer instalments, you are agreeing to pay the full price in the number of payments described at checkout. Each instalment is charged automatically to the payment method on file on the schedule shown. Keep that payment method valid. If a payment fails we will try again and contact you; if it stays unpaid we may suspend your access until the balance is current, and the remaining balance may become due [LATE / DEFAULT TERMS — CONFIRM]. Suspension for non-payment is not a cancellation, and it does not erase what you still owe.
Discount and personal codes
Discount codes are personal to the individual we gave them to. Unless we say otherwise, each code is single-use, cannot be transferred or sold, cannot be combined with another offer, has no cash value, and may be withdrawn or expire. A code applies at checkout, at the time of purchase — we do not apply codes retroactively to an order already placed.
Taxes and fees
You are responsible for any sales, use or other tax that applies to your purchase, and for any fee your own bank or card issuer charges you, including currency conversion.
10Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Read it before you buy. Live events and self-paced material have different terms because the delivery is different.
11No professional advice
Everything we publish and teach is educational. It is general information about a business model, not advice about your situation.
Nothing we provide is legal, financial, tax, accounting, insurance, real-estate, lending, medical, clinical or licensing advice. We are not your lawyer, accountant, broker, adviser or clinician, and using our material does not create an attorney-client relationship, a fiduciary relationship or any professional duty of care.
Any sample lease, policy, form or document we provide is an example to learn from, not a document you should sign without review. Have a licensed professional in your own state review anything you intend to rely on.
12No guarantee of results
We do not promise that you will make money, open a house, fill beds, obtain a license, get referrals, or achieve any particular business result. We make no earnings representation of any kind. Read the Earnings Disclaimer — it is part of this agreement.
Any story, example or testimonial anywhere on this site describes one person's experience. It is not typical, not verified as representative, and not a promise of what you will experience.
13What you send us
If you send us a question, a form submission, a document, a photo or a post in a group or live session, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to use it as needed to run the service and to answer you. If we ever want to quote you publicly, we will ask first.
Never send us resident information
Do not send us names, records, medical information, treatment history or any other personal or health information about residents, applicants or clients — yours or anyone else's. If you need to discuss a real situation, remove the identifying details first. We are not a covered entity, we do not want that information, and we will delete it if we receive it.
Do not send us anything unlawful, infringing, or confidential to a third party.
14Third-party links and tools
We link to other websites, and we name tools, vendors, lenders, insurers, associations and agencies as part of teaching. Those are not under our control. We do not endorse them, we do not warrant them, and we are not responsible for their content, their products, their pricing, their terms or their privacy practices. If you deal with them, that is between you and them.
Some third parties may pay us a commission if you use them. Where that applies, we will disclose it in the place where we recommend them.
15Disclaimer of warranties
The site and everything we provide are supplied "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the material is complete, accurate or current. Regulation in this field changes constantly and differs by jurisdiction; content that was accurate when recorded may no longer be accurate where you are.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunity, lost data or business interruption — even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the site or to anything you bought is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid us nothing, our total liability is limited to US$100.
These limits apply regardless of the legal theory — contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute or anything else. They do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as fraud or wilful misconduct. Some states do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TDSW Inc, ITSL Blueprint, and our officers, employees, contractors and instructors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, penalty, fine or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of:
- your business, your property and your operations, including anything involving your residents, applicants, staff, neighbours or landlord;
- your failure to obtain a required license, permit, registration, certification or insurance, or to comply with any law or code that applies to you;
- how you used, adapted or relied on our material, including any document or template;
- your breach of these terms or of anyone else's rights.
18Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and publish the new version here. If a change is material and you are an active customer, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you by email.
Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you already made — the version in effect on your purchase date governs that purchase.
19Suspension and termination
You can stop using the site at any time. Where you have bought something, ending your use does not by itself entitle you to a refund — see the Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, do not pay, share or resell our material, behave abusively toward staff or other participants, or use the site unlawfully. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
Sections that should logically survive the end of this agreement do survive it — including intellectual property, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
20Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable United States federal law.
Talk to us first
Before starting any formal proceeding, email contact@itslbp.com with a short description of the problem and what you want. We will work with you in good faith for 30 days to resolve it. Most problems end here, and it costs neither side anything. If your complaint is about a charge, please do this instead of filing a card dispute — see the Refund Policy.
If that does not resolve it
[DISPUTE MECHANISM — DECISION NEEDED: courts only, or binding arbitration with a class-action waiver]
Unless and until we adopt a different mechanism above, any dispute that informal resolution does not settle will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY — CONFIRM] County, California, and both sides consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section stops either side from seeking an injunction to protect intellectual property, or stops you from taking a matter to small claims court or to a government agency where the law allows it.
21General
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Earnings Disclaimer and the description of what you bought, are the whole agreement between us about that subject.
- Severability. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign them to a successor or to a buyer of the business.
- Force majeure. Neither side is liable for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside its reasonable control.
- Electronic communications. You agree we may communicate with you electronically, and that a click-through agreement or an emailed confirmation is as binding as a signature on paper.
- Independent parties. Nothing here makes either of us the other's employee, agent, partner or franchisee.
- Headings. Headings and section numbers are for navigation only.
22Contact
Questions about these terms, or about anything you bought:

We read every message. If your question is about whether this training is right for you, ask before you buy — we would rather answer the question than argue about it afterwards.
